Fond greetings, World – my name is Sooz.
I write and photograph and draw and paint and dance and explore.
In March of 2012, I followed my crazy to the utmost limit when my husband, dog, and I uprooted ourselves from everything we knew in Denver, CO to start a fresh existence in New Orleans, LA.
The result of that so far has been full of self re-discovery. Who am I? What do I wish to do with my universe? I am finding all of this out, and I hope this journey truly never ends as it makes this life of mine so exciting and wonderful and scary and intriguing.
So I continue to follow my crazy, and I write about it here. Welcome.

Well, Sooz, as the man said, “You can run but you cannot hide!” I finally got up on here and have it set up on the ol’ bookmark bar. I always knew you could write, but needless to say I’m really impressed with my kid. I hope you can get squared away down there pretty soon, so we can return there, too.

It’s funny, about an hour before this showed up in my inbox, I was actually thinking about you, and wondering how you were, and if you were still out there readin’. So that is awesome.
As far as “pullin’ a Merlot,” I don’t blame you. It has had it’s fair share of challenges, and ups and downs, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
Well, love, I do believe it is about time to updated everyone on what has been going on in your world. You have alot of catching up to do, and I’m sure there are people who would love to hear it.
